Metallic Loafers

Hello Lovely's,

This season I have been obsessed with loafers! I think that they are fun, they can make an outfit super cool and stylish, or even laid back at times. And who doesn't love that! Whether your gearing up for a class in a lecture hall, going to lunch with friends or going shopping, loafers can casually make a simple effort. There so many interesting designs to choose from, starting with low-heeled styles, (same as mine) retro-inspired versions, metallic colors and velvet creations. Once you've got your favorite loafers in your closet, the next step is to learn how to style them!

If you dream of simple yet classic footwear, this shoe is for you! They can easily replace any other shoe for a casual outfit. Personally I love the way that loafers add a dash of dapper to a woman's look. You are free to wear this shoe with khakis, denim, shorts, mini skirts, linen pants, etc. My personal favorite outfit to wear with the loafers I have are with a denim skinny or boyfriend jean paired with a basic tee that makes it look relaxed but refined. With that look I would also pair it with some sunnies, wide brimmed hat and or a denim jacket (for when it's a little breezy.

In the pictures below I have my loafers paired with a pair of skinny dark denim, an olive green velvet top with bell sleeves, and a simple cute black bag. The loafers elevate the outfit so it is dressy and can be worn to work, dinner or even if you're going on a date. And to be honest they are SO super comfy!! Loafers should definitely be a staple in your closet this spring! But can also definitely be worn in the fall and early winter!
