Work 2 Play Flatforms

Hello Lovely's,

This week I am styling Flatforms for any of you that would love to wear them, but don't know how to go about it! First off, anyone can wear them because let's be real they are SO cute and can go with just about anything to spice up an outfit. So flatforms can come in an array of styles, either a sneaker, which is pictured below, or in a sandal form! I will include a picture of what the sandals look like at the bottom of this post.

The minute these shoes came into style I knew I wanted a pair but needed to find the right exact pair because they needed to be perfect and match my style just a bit. I went on every retail site that I knew that sold them and finally landed on Steve Madden, in which I saw these silver metallic ones and I knew I had to have them.

Long story short, I knew I needed to go try them on in the store before I actually bought them because of sizing and see if they actually looked good on. So I went all the way to Newbury Street, tried them on, knew I loved them. They ended up being the last ones in the store, so I knew they were meant to be!! Here we are today, I'm absolutely loving them, they go with a lot of pieces in my wardrobe because let's face it they're silver and silver goes with just about everything! So how perfect? They're amazing.

So I wanted to make this outfit fun, with a little bit of flare, and the fact that you can wear it day to night is also a plus. How convenient is that! When picking this outfit I had the shoes in mind first, then I said to myself "How can I make an outfit that doesn't clash with too many fabrics and patterns?" Well, it's pretty simple. The shoes are a neutral color, so, with that in mind I knew I had these fun colorful striped jeans from Abercrombie & Fitch, and my army green jacket, from Splendid, which is a little distressed and that has some velvet touches to it. I knew would be perfect. The jacket is just an added touch, which you should have as a layer in case it's chilly. I added a black tank, from Madewell, and for a bag my Louie Vuitton clutch, which is timeless. To tie it all together, I accessorized with some simple silver jewelry. And there you go! You have a cute outfit that works all day long!
